Description
Crunchy, healthy sweet potato dog biscuits made with oat flour, egg, and natural ingredients. Great for pups with sensitive stomachs.
Ingredients
1 cup mashed sweet potato (cooked)
2 ½ cups oat flour
1 egg
¼ cup rolled oats
1 tbsp natural peanut butter (optional)
Water or broth as needed
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix mashed sweet potato and egg until smooth.
3. Add oat flour, rolled oats, and peanut butter; stir to form a dough.
4. If dough is dry, add water 1 tbsp at a time until soft but not sticky.
5. Roll out dough to ¼-inch thick on floured surface.
6. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
7. Place on baking sheet and bake 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
8. Cool completely before serving or storing.
Notes
For softer treats, bake for 20 minutes.
For crunchier, bake up to 35 minutes and cool inside oven.
Always cool completely before serving to dogs.
Store in airtight jar up to 10 days or freeze for 3 months.
