2 cups of whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons of catnip
1/2 cup of cooked and flaked chicken or tuna
1 large egg
1/4 cup of low sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and catnip, mixing well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the cooked and flaked chicken or tuna, egg, chicken broth, and olive oil until well combined.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until a dough forms. Add more broth if needed.
Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick and cut out shapes using a cookie cutter or knife.
Place the cut-out treats on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
Remove from the oven and let them cool completely on a wire rack before storing in an airtight container.
